Bootham Gardens is the perfect location for all York wedding venues, York city centre, Clifton Business Park, York hospital, the station, the theatres and both Universities. All of York's attractions can easily be reached on foot. This means you do not incur taxi costs, do not have to use your car (parking is very scarce in York) and you are not going to spend an hour in the morning and again of an afternoon battling against the traffic. We are possibly the best location if you are planning to make day trips in your car. Even during the rush - hours you can be clear of York in 10 minutes.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Although we are in the city centre, you can get to us without driving through the city. You should approach us on the A1237 – ring road and then the A19. Do not follow the A64 into the city centre. The ring road crosses the A19 and this is where you should turn for the city centre on the A19.
A1237/A19 ROUNDABOUT. Leave the roundabout and head into York city centre. Straight through the traffic lights (Park and Ride). Straight through the next traffic lights. Straight through the next traffic lights, village green on your right. Straight through the Panda lights. At the next Panda lights on your right is the Grange hotel with stone columns, 10 yards after the panda turn left before the newsagents into Bootham Crescent. Bootham Gardens is on the left hand side. Pull into our car park. If you drive past continue for 30 yards and do a ‘U’ turn at the end of the road.
